Joining Us

We are always looking for new members. Although Gilbert and Sullivan is not the normal amateur societies selection of performance material, rest assured that it is no different than performing any other show. The music is challenging and the libretto is comical and many of the shows are just could have been written yesterday.Indeed the plots in the majority of the shows are just as relevant today as they were a 100 years ago.

Joining us could not be easier. Come along to a rehearsal night either in September or after the main show in March. After a week or two's attendance. you will be asked to sing a part of one of the songs rehearsed that night. A member of the society will also be there to sing along with you.

Once you're a member, you can join in our full programme of shows, concerts and afternoon tea events.

Annual membership is £35 and there is also a weekly rehearsal charge of £2.00 This covers the rehearsal hall costs and includes drink, biscuits and a chance to win a raffle prize. For more information email us via our contact page
