Welcome to our 2008 production of the ever popular Mikado. Last year’s production of the relatively unknown “Utopia Limited.” proved to be quite a pleasant and rewarding challenge, to which, I am proud to say our members rose magnificently.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank our Producer of the last ten years, Barbara Springthorpe, for all her hard work. Her talent and dedication have been greatly appreciated by all concerned.

I would also like to thank our retiring Treasurer Rosemary Tyson for her many years of unfailing commitment to one of the most demanding jobs in the society.

Finally, my thanks to you, our ever loyal audience, who continue to support us every year and help to keep these wonderful operas alive.
